When it comes to meat, we talk in 3 different weights.

1) Live weight- this is the weight the animal weighs "on the hoof".

2) Hanging weight- this is the weight at which you pay LC Cattle Co. It is typically 60-65% of liveweight. This is the animal without the hide, organs, hooves, and head. 

3) Packaged weight- this is actual take home product. It is typically 55% of hanging weight. 

A 1350lb animal will yield around 810-840 lbs hanging weight and then 485-500+ lbs pounds fishined meat, depending on processing. 

Patrons are charged $4.35/lb. hangng weight which includes your beef, basic processing, and delivery. 

You will receive a receipt from our processing facility with your hanging weight and fee.  

Orders are ready 3-4 weeks after drop off at our processor.  Ordering time varies but we have monthly ordering options.  

All our beef comes to you vacuum sealed, labeled, and ready for the freezer.  Properly stored, it can last 2-3 years, meaning no waste. 

We do encourage patrons to examine their packages as they unload. 

Quarter packages are standard cut and do not option custom options. 

Half and whole cow options are completely custom cut to your specifications. Basic processing is covered in the cost of your purchase.  The only additional costs will be for:

- Summer Sausage

- Ground Beef Patties

- Added fat to ground beef

Our beef our grass-fed, grain/grass finished for optimum flavor, texture, and marbling.

For new customers we require NON-REFUNDABLE deposits as follows:

Eighth $25

Quarter $50

Half $100

Whole $200

Full balances are due upon drop off at the processor, unless previous payment plan arragements have been made.  We currently accept   PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp. 

Cash deposits can be made at Centennial or Southern Bank locations.  We no longer accept cash at delivery. No checks.

The processor will call a few days before pickup to discuss customizing half and whole orders.  

Unfortunately, at this time, we are not shipping our packages.  

We have both pickup locations and home delivery available.  Delivery options will be communicated at time of order. 

Patrons outside of our local area will be given a two hour delivery window the week of delivery (typically on Thursdays or Fridays).
